Braves get Kyle Farnsworth and Rick Ankiel from Royals
The Atlanta Braves made their vaunted bullpen even stronger by acquiring reliever Kyle Farnsworth and outfielder Rick Ankiel in the Kansas City Royals, a high-ranking Braves’ official confirmed.
Ankiel provides them depth in center field with Nate McLouth demoted towards the minors.
The Braves sent prospects Jesse Chavez, Gregor Blanco and Tim Collins to Kansas City for Ankiel and Farnsworth.
