Nintendo declared the Wii U (not Wii 2) in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2011) in Los Angeles. This is a console/controller combo using a 6.2-inch screen and controller buttoms. The controller can run as its individual gaming platform and play Wii video games individually through the large display. It can also be used being a conventional controller within the sense it may use motion-sensing to manage the action on the big screen.
The Wii was produced with impressive graphical and technical capabilities and Nintendo has IBM to thank for this. Shortly soon after the Nintendo keynote at E3, IBM announced it had been providing the microprocessors that can go to the new Wii U system.
